The rule depends on the country, not on the language
This site is the unprefixed European root and carries no country of its own. Licence thresholds differ sharply: Germany exempts combustion engines up to 11.03 kW, France requires a licence above 4.5 kW, the Netherlands and Belgium tie it to speed above 20 km/h, Switzerland to power above 6 kW, and Türkiye to ten horsepower. Spain and Italy grant exemptions, but only within conditions of length, distance from shelter and daylight.
The table on this page lists each rule with the norm it comes from and the date we last checked it. Where a country has no verified primary source, it says so rather than guessing.
A compact boat, not a toy
Whatever the paperwork says, a motorboat remains a powered craft. Weather, current, load, safety equipment and traffic rules apply the same way with fifteen horsepower as with eighty. The twin-wall HDPE hull is robust and forgiving of dock contact, but it replaces neither seamanship nor a proper handover.
What the price covers
The starting price is the 15 hp configuration: outboard fitted and run in, steering, battery, tank, navigation light and the documented safety equipment. Options, trailer and delivery change the final quote. We confirm the exact scope in writing before anything is ordered.
